Hard drive read only when using Mac

I just got my new Passport hard drive. I installed it using a Windows PC. Unfortunately, it has come to be a “read only” Hard drive where in I can only view existing files but I can’t copy, add any file, or delete any file in the hard drive. (When I use a Mac PC) but when I use a Windows PC, it works normally, like a regular hard drive. I need it to work on a MAC PC as it is my main computer.

If you would like to use the drive on both systems, you will need to reformat the unit on a specific file system.
