G-Raid with thunderbolt 3 Raid 1?

I have a new G-RAID Thunderbolt 3 8Tb Drive and I am trying to format the drive using the G-Technology Format tool, but it ONLY gives me the option to format the drive as a single 7452Gb Drive, i.e. RAID 0, I need RAID 1 but the software does not allow this! Please advise as to what I need to do…

You need the G-RAID configurator to change the RAID policy.

It on our support site here:
G-RAID configurator for Mac
or
G-RAID configurator for Windows

For some reason mine says NO DEVICES FOUND? My G raid is on and I can see it in disk utility?
