external g-drive warns “read only” / time machine says the same thing / running on iMac / someone told me they think that it thinks it’s windows and is confused / something maybe needs changed in permissions / i’m a novice / any help will be greatly appreciated / thanks / Patrick
i tried to attach some of the warnings but i don’t think they took

when you look at the g-drive info pictured you can see that when i try to unlock the permissions lock to try to see my options it is grayed out
