Hello ,

Can anyone tell me why the disk turns off and restarts itself after a while when, for example, I click on the disk icon?

I have the disk connected directly to the Mac Book Pro M1 using the original cable from the set

Is it supposed to be that energy saving is turned on or is it in some mode or, I don’t know?

And my second question is whether it is recommended to connect the disk (back part of the disk) icon with the computer to the Mac Book or can a cable be connected to the second input?
