G Drive Mobile USB-C not mounting

My Brand new G Drive Mobile USB-C 4TB hard drive all of a sudden stopped mounting.

The device was plugged in when I received a notification from my Macbook Pro that my hard drive was not safely removed, the device was plugged in and still spinning with the light on.

I have tried restarting my laptop and checking Disk Utility and the device does not show up although it is powered and spinning.

Any tips or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Check the view box in the top left of Disk Utility and make sure it is set to show all devices.

If the drive is still not listed in the External section then there is an issue. First suggestion if possible is to try another USB cable or another computer just in case but if those yield no results or you cannot attempt them then only a replacement is possible.
