My laptop crashed and I am reinstalling My Book Live onto my new computer. I have forgotten my Admin/Owner password and cannot finish the setup. Can I reset this password?

Hello,
Hold the reset button on the back of the drive for 4 seconds. This will reset all the settings on the drive including the password.

Thank you! That worked and I was able to reinstall and enter a new admin/owner password for remote access.
