Firmware update failed

Seems the download link doesn’t work, though I got a copy of this firmware finally,
(https://downloads.wdc.com/nas/My_Cloud_GLCR_2.41.116.bin)
but unfortunately, the updating failed with code 1003, then I tried to update it manually through ssh,
but it is still failed, I wonder what else could I do.

Your model probably can’t support later versions

if it’s not P/N: WDBWVZ then it is stuck and not possible to upgrade further

An FYI, you have necroposted a discussion where the last reply was from November 2021. And the original poster (liuxiaohua72) was last seen January 2022.

If the original poster really had a My Cloud EX2 Ultra, as evidenced by “root@MyCloudEX2Ultra” from their initial post, then they absolutely could have updated their unit to later OS3 firmware at that time, and could have updated to the even later supported OS5 firmware.
