New firmware is out, but nothing significant in the Release Notes (Software and Firmware Downloads | WD Support):
- Updates to enable compliance with EU privacy regulations.
So glad we waited 4 months for this “update” and considering the last update was a rush job so the “reputation” of WD was not dragged through the mud yet again.
When are WD going to release updates for this unit that address genuine issues with the product to make it usable and to resolve the constant issues people have with the stability of these units? If this is not possible, then come out and be honest and open about it.
