Finding duplicates on drive

I’m told it is impossible to connect my WD NAS to my computer. The reason I wanted to do this is becasue I wanted to use a program that detects duplicates, and clean out the drive. Most of these programs do not see the network drive, so its impossible to use these programs with that drive.

What is the best way for me to find duplicates on the drive?

Thanks in advance for your help…!

Hi there,
Firstly, have you connected the drive to your system?
Secondly, which drive are you talking about? the one in your computer or the NAS drive?
For deletion of duplicate files, you can use third party apps to do this.
BleachBit, Glary Utilities are among free tools.
