The Twonky server in the MBL might have problems with MKV files. Check if your TV can access network shares, so you can access the MBL folders directly.
This might be related to the encoding of the MKV files that may not be supported by Twonky and/or your TV.
The tv can play mkv Iv tried it through USB and it works. Any other ideas??
I am not sure it is Twonky,
I have a Samsung TV UE40C. If I access MKV files through the DLNA on the samsung to Twonky I have the same problem. If I access the twonky server on my LG Blue ray sound bar it will play the MKV fine, Same twonky different appliance handling the codec. I think it’s perhaps the decoder on the Samsung set that it uses.
No Idea how to get round it unless you have a wireless media player connected to it that can handle the MKV
Sorry but I hope this helped in some way.
