Dts audio

Hi,

I am downloading some dts audio files. Would I be able to play the same through WDTV LIVE player which is hooked up to me sound system. If not please let me know if there is any other way for the play.

As far as I know DTS can play on the Live, so you shouldn’t have many issues…

DTS audio tracks appear to be recognised by my AV receiver.

HDMI, digital audio from the WD TV Live to the AV.

WDTV Live can downmix DTS to stereo, so you can watch a film with a DTS soundtrack down mixed to TV. To get surroud sound you’ll need an AV receiver. Not sure your sound system. Here’s an article about AC3 and DTS 5.1 playback with WD TV, hope it helps.
