if plugged into another computer, it will install but says “drive is not turned on” and also will not show up.
There is no switch on the Passport. Passport worked fine until a month ago. Now it will not show up as a drive.
When Passport drive is completely full, no space left, it will disappear from list on drives in pc. Using WD drive utilities to erase drive allows in to appear again on the pc.
Are you able to see your drive in Device manager?
i don’t think he knows what he’s talking about …
a completely full drive will still appear on a PC … i’ve accidentally filled drives to there last 1KB and they still appear fine.
and i just simply deleted some files to make room again and not scrub the entire with ‘wd ultilies’ which is ridiculous as it sounds.
