Drive upgrade

Hi, I have a MyBook (Duo?) that I got a long time ago so forgot the exact name, but it is RAID1 with two 500GB drives.

I’m considering upgrading this to 2TB drives.  I’m not finding too much info on this process.  Would anyone be able to comment on whether those drives would be supported?

I could copy the existing data off, so I don’t need the upgrade process to retain the data and partition table, etc.  It could be a from-scratch upgrade.

I don’t believe you can just swap out the drives because of the firmware.
