Drive locked after change to windows10

i setup my WD passport to not require password and i have been using it for the last year.
a couple days ago i finally upgraded to windows 10 and now its asking me for a password, the problem is i didnt create one so i dont know why its asking for a password.
i tried to leave the password blank but doesnt work.
i dont want to format the drive because i have really important files that i cannot get back anymore if i format the drive
any help would be appreciated

Also, if possible try on another computer that does not have Windows 10 to verify if the issue remains.
