Password required after software update

I have a passport portable drive; after a recent WD software update, a password to unlock the drive was required; however, it’s been so long since I installed that I forgot the password, and cannot afford to erase the drive (irreplaceable pictures and documents are there)… Please help…

Have you been able to test if you are only asked for your password in a specific computer?

Thanks Trancer; no, I have not tried; I will. However, this is the only computer where I have had this device (and its software) installed…
