Doing some maintenance: how to delete network "folders"?

Hi all and thank you for your help.

How do I delete/get rid of these “folders” on my NAS? It seems as if it has something to do with the registered users but I don’t want to delete users without knowing which ones to delete.

Cheers,

Log into the web dashboard and delete the shares.

Hi Tony: I had the same problem, took me over an hour with 2 different WD technician to resolve it. #1 - you need to delete the folders you do not want under your Admin Dashboard. Once done, you need to click on the ‘person’ icon on your homepage of the Dashboard (right top) and select ‘reboot’. This will reboot the dashboard to update your network. Once your WD device power button is solid color, check your file explorer again and the removed folders should not be there anymore. Hope this resolves your issue.
