After the auto update firmware fiasco looking to add a USB drive for backup and to put files that don’t need to be on a RAID. Is it still the case that only up to 2 TB drives are recognized?
I didn’t know there was such a limitation.
What happens if you attach a larger drive?
It would error and would not mount, was limited to the 2 TB partition. Well just answered my own question, went out and bought a 3 TB My Book and it mounted just fine and I have access to the 3 TB through the EX2. It must have been addressed in a firmware somewhere along the way.

Never had a problem attaching two of my 4TB USB 3 drives from the very beginning. Worked fine from EX2’s launch for me, five months ago.
