I backed up my passport a few weeks ago and last night I had a virus which totally locked up my computer and after speaking to some support on the phone and trying various ways around it I had to reset my laptop to it’s default settings and wipe all my data which I thought wouldn’t be a problem because of my backup…
I retrieved the data from the passport onto my laptop only to find that it was nowhere near all the data, only word and excel documents none of my photos or anything are on there ?! I don’t understand how they weren’t backep up and is there anyway of retrieving them? I’m trying a few programs which claim to retrieve potentially deleted files but I’m not sure.
Please help me.
