Determining date of production of WD Elements & My Book drives

For backup purposes I cannot allow to have multiple hard drives produced in the same year - possible even in the same process. How can I figure out when the hard drives have been produced.

Constraints:
I need to do this by model number, because I need to determine it before I buy the product.

I found the warranty checker, but it didn’t get me very far. It could not judge by model number.

If there’s no tool available, could a WD employee check these for me:

HDD1:
S/N: WX91E6417ZYJ
P/N: WD8MWV0020BRD-05

HDD2:
Model number: WDBU6Y0020BBK-WESN

I didn’t open a support case, yet. I was hoping WD would also look into this forum and answer. I’ll give it a try.
