Datarecuperation by replacing with identical PCB

I have a hard disk which has been damaged, probably due to a short circuit as a consequence of using an inappropriate power adapter.

In order to recover the data on the hard disk, I had it examined by a firm, specialized in recuperating data from damaged hard disks. Their feedback was that the PCB has been damaged.

Is it correct that I can recover the data on the hard disk, if I replace the PCB by an identical (not damaged) one?

If so, where could I buy a PCB that would fit the device : WD10EZEX-08M2NA0 (Date 16 OCT 2014)
PCB : 2060-771829-005 REV A

Any kind of help is welcome!!!

Hi,

You could refer to the following link: Third Party Data Recovery Software Options for Windows and macOS

We must now consider a firmware chip exchange on a identical PCB.
