Data Volumes failed to Mount

Hello,

I have problem with my MBLDUO, Device works fine for 7-8 months and 2 days ago I get the following alert on email:

Following events are generated on your MyBookLive Shramba.

Event title:Data volume failed to mount

Event description:The data volume on the drive is not accessible. Please contact customer service.

Severity:crit

Event code:0004

Event time:04-07-2013 02:00:02 PM

On WEB interface i see the following message:

Data volume failed to mount
The data volume on the drive is not accessible. Please contact customer service.

FW: MyBookLiveDuo 02.41.05-034 : Core F/W

Question: what OS are you using?

I’m running a MBLD on an OSX network and have no issues, whereas a friend of mine is trying to access her MBLD from a Windows7 machine and cannot connect to her private shares.

Is there a connection to the recent FW upgrade? Anybody? Any solutions out there?

General I have computers with windows 7/8 and I don’t think there it’s a Windows problem, because when I login into web managment of my MBLD I can’t see any share on web managment - I see only Public folder.

Now I connect to MBLD via SSH and I see that all data it’s on HDD and now I will copy data do another HDD.

Have you updated yout MBLD with the latest FW, yet? I’m hoping this will fix the access issues for my Windows7 friend, even though she hasn’t yet received notification of the nw FW…

I’m really hoping the FW update will fix her problems, cause right now all she can do is to restart her MBLD several times a day to regain access … and access is lost over time, so she has to restart again.

He won’t be able to upgrade without a datavolume mounted

I’m having this same issue :frowning:

I upgrade to latest firmware, but now web interface don’t alllow me to login into device. I try also reseting device… without any success.

Today I have contact wd support and they say to me that I should send device back to WD
