Creating Sub-Folder ReadWrite Access

Hi,

I wanted to create shared folder inside another folder? Is that possible?

Example:

Folder-1

→ SubFolder A

→ SubFolder B

→ SubFolder C

Can I create user access for SubFolder A? Only userA can access to SubFolderA.

I notice i can only control the user access folder in parent folder, not in sub-folder?

Hello and welcome to the WD community.

You can work with permissions on each share, but regarding sub folders located on a specific share the permissions can’t be changed. I wouldn’t know if there is a way to modify permissions on folders within a share in any other way, lets see if another user can share some tips and information regarding this matter.
