Correct procedure for migrating to larger drives?

Not sure why this has been so hard to find, but I want to know the right way to upgrade my existing My Cloud Mirror Gen 2 RAID 1 config 2 TB x 2 drives with a RAID 1 4TB x 2 config.
Is there a step-by-step guide on how to do this?
Thanks!

I was trying to do the same thing but fortunately I still have like 150GB of space before I have to. Some Googling led me to this: Upgrade / replace existing HDD with bigger hard drives on WD NAS MyCloud and other – NAS Compares

Any other experience people on here see that this is the correct and safe way of doing this?

Thanks!
Only question I still have is, some folks have indicated that if you move to a larger drive capacity using this technique it may not let you access the full capacity – in other words it treats the new 4TB drive as a 2TB drive.
Any thoughts on this? Is it a real problem?

No, not a problem, after last step you will see new option to expand volume to recover “lost” space.

Also, don’t forget to take fresh backup - raid rebuild is very intense process, if you drive is old and/or ready to give up, you can loose all data.
