So I got my MC EX4 up and running after many years. I managed to finally get it mounted on my Mac. I created a Superuser account and login using this account. I set all of the folders on my EX4 as public - Read/Write. When I copy some files from my NAS to my EX4 I get an error that I do not have access to the file. I can copy this same file off the NAS to my desktop without issue. I can copy files from my desktop to EX4 it works. It’s just copying from my NAS (network) and my EX4 (attached to my local TB Hub). The file that failed shows up grey on EX4. If I try to delete I get same error - I do not have privileges to perform a delete. Why am I getting these warnings? I can copy files from NAS to EX4 without issue - but eventually I get an error and the copying shutdowns.
Does anyone know why this is occurring? Now I am copying - in some cases - large amounts of data - I’m trying to backup NAS to the EX4.
Thanks
I’m also getting error -1407 unexpected error during copying of some folders. Most data copies. I’m wondering if it’s certain file types???
just FYI I’m on Mac Mini M1 - Sonoma. I setup my EX4 a long time ago as RAID 0. I have 12 TB storage on EX4 and I’ve only used 29 GB so far).
Apparently user privileges error:
