Change Network Name

How do I change the network name of the My Cloud Home device? Regardless of what name I set in WD Discovery, it persists in advertising two ugly, irrelevant, unhelpful serialized names to users, including one for Windows which I don’t use or want.

Somebody, please… Make it stop. I don’t need this obscure gibberish being broadcast to users. It’s sloppy and confusing.

We would like to inform you to kindly Login to MyCloud.com and change the name of your My Cloud Home to whatever you want then Sign out of WD Discovery and Sign Back in.

The OP was specifically asking how to change the “network name”. I’m afraid the 2 answers above missed that.
