I have bought this wd my cloud for clouding my all office files and I am become foolish. A cloud device has not any support for office files like docx, doc, xlsx, xls even text too through mobile device. This is really a bad thing for a cloud. Is there any plan to make the office files supported for mobile app? Otherwise this device will be a tough only. Very bad rating from my survey.
You can install respective applications in mobile to open their supported document files. Basically My Cloud Home Mobile app supports “.pdf” files but it redirects file opening requests to installed apps of mobile to provide their best view.
I did so but open with list is not showing my Microsoft Office in android. It just asking for share and it tries to download for a long time. Boring! The mobile app needs to reconstruct with plenty of built in support for office based files. Is there any disability for the device or the software developer team? I would like to return this toy with full refund. Is there any way anybody knows? Or I should through this away if such features are not a available.
