Cant Get the AAC Audio to work!

Setup :- Epson Projector (HDMI) connected to WDTv LIVE HUB

              Pioneer VSX-1017 (Optical) connected to WDTV live HUB

I am playing videos through a hard drive connected to WDTV  and I see the video but don’t get any audio. The video file has AAC audio which my reciever wont play. I don’t know what to do here. Do I need to buy a new reciever that will process the AAC codes or is there something I can do to tweak the reciever.  PLease help!!!

No, you need to ensure that AAC is NOT selected in your Audio Out settings on the Hub.

Also, beware that Multichannel AAC (such as 5.1) is not supported – it’ll downmix it to Stereo.
