I have a MAC. I am able to create an admin account. Then promts take me to a cloud access set up, where I should enter my name, email and create a password. When I do that and click next the system shows “updating” for a while, for a very long while, then it logs out by itself. I went through the process like 10 times with no success. I tried to set up with my iPhone but the result is the same.
Hi @dmitry9,
Have you opened a Support Case? If not opened, for more information, please contact the WD Technical Support team for the best assistance and troubleshooting:

I came here for the exact same reason - everything goes well until you have to log in to your OS5 account - then it just shows “updating” until it runs out of patience and start over with admin login and you can start over.
I would like to add that I have an old MyCloud Home unit also registred on the OS5 account - but I haven’t had any issues with that side.
Do you know which firmware version it’s running? WD has banned older firmware versions from being accessible via the web.
No - unfortunately I haven’t been able to get that far yet as I haven’t completed the installation and registration, so I don’t have access to the dashboard.
Same…just stayed on “Updating” and never did anything. I finally had to refresh the screen manually. It appears to have taken. But now I cannot log in to the My Cloud OS remote access as I never do receive the confirmation email. I log in and it says I have confirm my email but it never sends the confirmation email.
Very frustrating with this product so far…
