Cannot Initialize WD Passport

Hello. I have a WD Passport (WDGBU0010BBK-0B). It hadn’t been plugged in for about a year. When I plugged it in, I heard the USB connect ding but it didn’t list in Explorer. I’ve tried everything but it won’t initialize. Again, I see it in Disk Manager with no identifiable properties, but not in Explorer.

I’ve tried cmd in Admin mode…
Powershell – Not showing. Only shows C:
Chkdsk only shows C: (It goes through the erap successfully.)

Disk manager – Lists it as Disk 1, Unknown, Not initialized.
When I try to initialize I get “The request failed due to a fatal device hardware error.”

Tried DISKPART…
Microsoft DiskPart version 10.0.19041.964 Copyright (C) Microsoft Corporation.
On computer: DESKTOP-QOB8153
DISKPART> list disk
Disk ### Status Size Free Dyn Gpt

Disk 0 Online 238 GB 6144 KB *
Disk 1 Online 0 B 0 B
DISKPART> select disk 1
Disk 1 is now the selected disk.
DISKPART> clean
DiskPart succeeded in cleaning the disk.
DISKPART> convert gpt
