I installed the WD My Cloud application on my PC to access files from a 3TB My Book. When I right click a cloud file and select ‘copy file’ it will not copy to the desktop. The paste option is greyed out when I right click on the desktop. However, I can upload a file from my PC to the My Book and also open a files that resides on the My Book. Any thoughts on this issue?
Is this similar to my issue, for instance is the file you are trying to copy over 4.2GB and are you transferring over the internet?
You may try to select all the files you want to copy then drag it over to your desktop. This will act as a copy and paste function.
