Cannot access My Cloud using app off the network after a period of time

Hi there, I am having problems accessing My Cloud using the App when I’m not on the wif-fi network. This usually occurs when I have not used it for a while. The App will attempt to find My Cloud but will fail and indicated “Drive Offline”. I have tried this when at home but not on the network and the My Cloud has the blue light and is seemingly working - when I get back on wifi, I am then able to access the Cloud using the app. I have tried resetting on a couple of occasions that I have done this and it seems to fix it - but when I try again after a period of time I get the same result.

Firmware is all up to date. I am also using the latest version of the app. The app is the blue app with the cloud on it.

I should add that I have the My Cloud on a static IP address.

@hurleysmiths A My Cloud Home does not have a blue LED, are you sure that is what you have?

Hi sorry for the late reply. I have been away and forgot about the issue. The issue is unfortunately continuing. I have a My Cloud not a My Cloud Home. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
