Can you get the EX4100 wit 3 x 4 Tb disks

Would lile to order this asap but it seems to go from 8tb to 16, can’t quite stretch to the 16 yet but would like to later in the year if possible, also is that easy to add on or do you have to back up, reformat and set up again?

It is not sold with 3 disk drives but it is sold diskless in order to add only 3 drives if needed. The unit features RAID and data migration for expansion (Depending on the RAID mode).

Trancer - a quick question about data migration.  Looking at the 4100 and thinking of going with 3 x 6TB disks, configured with raid 5.  If I later choose to add a 4th disk, would the data migration allow the 4100 to redistribute the data across all 4 disks instead of the 3, without having to move the data off the NAS?  Is there some documentation on the data migration; I don’t see it in the users manual for the 4100?  Thanks.

It is possbile to to migrate from 3 drives (RAID 5) to a 4 drives (RAID 5).  I believe it calls Raid volume expandsion.
