Can the WD TV LIVE gen 3 power supply be replaced with 12V 4A?

Hi! Does the unit suffer if I use 12V 4A power supply? The 12V 1,5A broke and for a while it seemed not to give decent power for 2TB USB hard drives if both were connected. Now it works fine - but is the unit capable of 12V 4A power supply?
