Can’t Claim Warranty For WEEKS, In Violation of USA Law, Worst Customer Support Ever

Hello.

For the last two weeks I’ve been trying to replace my essentially brand new Western Digital Black 2TB NVME SSD under warranty. It is faulty and has been causing random BSOD’s. For this entire period, Western Digital has refused to service me, as somehow their support tools are down even for their own support agents until October 1st.

Not only is this unacceptable from a customer standpoint, it is also illegal under the Magnuson-Moss Act in the US. I needed my PC for work two weeks ago, and I can’t wait until October 1st. Nobody has been able to help me. How can I claim my warranty?

EDIT: I have gotten through to a manager, who has explained that the entire system is down due to SanDisk and Western Digital splitting into two separate entities. How this somehow manages to shut down their entire warranty system is beyond me. Extremely unprofessional and not to mention ILLEGAL in the United States. This will be the last time I purchase a Western Digital product.

Hi @Atlas9
Have you opened a Support Case? If not opened, for more information, please contact the WD Technical Support team for the best assistance and troubleshooting:

As I stated, the entire support system is down, so their customer service team is essentially useless because the support system is somehow down for them as well. Insanely bad customer service. It’s essentially a massive class action lawsuit waiting to happen.
