Can see, but not use mybook essential 37 on win7

I have a mybook essential 3 tb external hard drive

i have used this drive to back up files on my macbook, 

i now have a pc with windows 7 and i would like to put some the files on that computer

unfortunately i can dee the drive in computer manager

disk 2(the external drive) at the bottom shows as “healthy”

but at the top it has no name and the only option it gives me is to format

managaer but i can not access it, and the only option it gives me is to format the drive

any suggestions?

Windows will not work with Mac Formatted drives

You will need to format the drive to work on Windows

Or, you can use HFS Explorer to read and write to the drive
