Hello, I want use a My Passport Ultra in a Samsung TV (SMART TV SAMSUNG 40 UN40J6400)
It is OK? TV has a USB port (HDD 5V 1A), but i have a question, if I on/off the TV, can the External Drive break??
Or I need other External Unit? with external power?

I have not tried this on this specific model, when ii used my portable drives with a TV directly connected it did not matter if i turned the tv on or off, however lets see if another user can share some information or tips on this matter.
