When I purchased my 4T MyCloud I was under the impression I could use it to backup MY Book Live 1T, which is where I keep all my data files. I cannot seem to find a way to do this. Is this possible with Smartware and if not what do you suggegst?
Yes.
WD Smartware Pro will allow you to backup the My Book Live and other network drives to the My Cloud.
You can also create a Safepoint from one to the other.
