Brand new WD Blue 1TB rattling/clunking

I recently purchased a new WD Blue 1TB drive to replace an older drive that was failing. The new drive seems to function fine, but constantly makes an annoying rattling/clunking noise. I’ve been told this is normal and it’s just the drive operating normally, but I’m not convinced. I’ve managed to record the sound here:

It’s louder in person, but you can hear it most clearly towards the end. Is this actually normal, or should I RMA?

I would consider invoking an RMA the rattling/clunking occurs with the SATA data connection disconnected and/or if you hear a distinctive, continual and repetitive pattern of clicks and rattles.
