I just got my brand spankin new macbook pro 13 with a “my passport” external drive. The drive worked totally fine for awhile but lately it hasn’t been showing up in finder. The drive light is on and it’s making noise like its working, but no! What can I do? My wedding photos are on that thing…
Hello, have you tried plugging the drive on another computer? Have you tried different USB ports and different USB cables?
I plugged it in on my brother’s mac, it pulled up fine on his, then we plugged it back in on mine and it pulled up. But the same thing happened the next day. I tried both USB ports as well.
I would recommend you then to contact support as they will be able to assist you further on this case.
