I need help figuring out what the LED light pattern means on my mycloud device. It blinks blue rapidly, then purple for a moment, then starts rapidly blinking blue again. The LED light on the back of the device is solid green. On my router (netgear nighthawk), the LED light that indicates an ethernet connection is not lit, meaning it doesn’t recognize the mycloud device via ethernet. I have already tested the ethernet cord (replaced with a brand new one and tested it with another device), troubleshooted the router, power cycled, and reset the mycloud device. I still can’t bring my mycloud online. I can’t find any threads about purple/magenta LED indicator lights that match my situation. Please advise. Thank you!
@lkaymen1 Have you looked at the Learning Center where you can find more information and the User Manuals for My Cloud Homes. Are you sure you have a My Cloud Home, they do not have blue LEDs.
- Front LED
The front LED on My Cloud Home devices is a single color, white. It is either on, off or blinks with a certain rhythm to indicate a specific “System Condition”. A “System Condition” list is outlined below in Table 1.2.
