Hi all, in my company we bought 2 Ultrastar He8, model HUH728080AL 5 200 /1/4/5, and we trying to add them to a machine with C610/X99 series chipset 6-Port SATA Controller.
But the disks was not recognized and we go lots of "connection status changed ata3 : SError : {DevExch} " error messages.
Then I found that our controller only support a maximum speed of 6Gb/s and this can be the problem.
So I would like to know if someone has already used this tool https://www.hgst.com/hdd/support/download.htm , in order to set the disk speed to a supported value, and if I should use it for my case or if there is any other option to solve this problem.
