Any way to tell which account is accessing EX2?

I often see the front blue lights flashing on the EX2, as it is being accessed, and wondered if there is any way to tell who/which account is doing the accessing?   I’ve created accounts for family members outside of the home, so I can’t just holler down the hall, but once in a while I’d like to check with them that it’s really them that’s logged in.

Sorry, but this is one feature requested (of many) from community to WD months ago, but not implemented (yet).

By the way, please note that also if no one is accessing (locally or remotely) your EX2, WD itself will access it every “x” time to maintan updated your data connection (ip address, etc.), like a DDNS server.

So, you will see “lights” on EX2 also during the middle of the night, if you have enabled the remote access for your family…

Ciao
