Allowing Access to a file on my NAS

Is it possible on this device to provide someone with a link (URL) to a file (say a video or zipped file) so that they are able to download it to their computer?

In what little I have read on the subject it would seem that I would have to have each user (in this case, members of a club or society) create a WD Account and pair their computer with my EX4. Is this the only way?

Thanks for the information. I suspected that providing a link for viewing might be possible, I just didn’t know how. I hadn’t realised that it would be via the ‘mycloud.com’ account.
