Advice for new user

Hi guys
I have recently purchased a my cloud duo (2Tb + 2Tb) which is set up as raid. I can access the drive from my mobile app, through the WD web site using the IP and i have mapped the network drive on my laptop. All of these seem to be working ok.

So far, i have backed up around 100Gb of photos from 2 mobiles, some from google photos and a small amount from google drive. After a short period, i started to get messages from my cloud saying that my storage was running low (I can only assume that i now have multiple copies of photos).

I am now trying to manage the storage. I can see 1 folder on my phone which does not show any duplicates, but i cannot see the size of the folder. It is the same story when i access through the IP or the network.

I have 3 questions:

How can i see the photo folders when accessing through my network (so i can manage through my network)?
How can i transfer the photos from my cloud to an external HDD (so i can sort the data and reload onto my cloud)?
How can i see the folder size (to see where all of the stored data is)?

Answers in plain English please as i am not very technical

Thanks for your help
Peter

Are you sure you have a first generation WDMYCLOUD Duo (Mirror) with OS3? Sounds like you have a My Cloud Home Duo.

My Cloud Home Duo User Manual.

I think you are right, it is a Home duo.

The My Cloud Home Duo is an entirely different device than the My Cloud line of devices. See the My Cloud Home Duo subforum where users of that device may be able to assist.
