Adding second drive without formatting other drive?

I have added a second drive to my WD My Cloud EX2. Currently only my first drive is detected by the system.

my question is: if I go to Storage → RAID → Change RAID mode → Create new Volume, does my first drive also gets formatted?

There is already a lot of data on the first drive and I would prefer to keep them when adding a second drive. The first drive is formatted as JBOD. I want the second one to be a JBOD drive with no RAID too.

Hello and welcome to the WD community.

If you insert another drive you should be able to get to add the new drive as a JBOD without having to erase the information on the first drive. On this case if you are need further help i would recommend contacting support on this matter:
