Hi, I have few questions about the WD my cloud home device.
- Can I access the device and it’s contents over local WiFi connection? (Without any kind of internet connection available to that WiFi network)
- What is the amount of ram on this device?
- no, an internet connection is required to authenticate the account.
- 1GB
Seriously? If my internet goes out, I can’t access the device? That seems . . . .rather lame.
Are you forced to access from the WD app, or are you able to access it via either drive letter access (a practice to be discouraged) or direct from a file explorer window?
