Hello. I have a at 4TB My Cloud drive. I have recently purchased an Amazon fire stick for a TV in spare room so I can access Netflix and my cloud drive etc.
I have installed VLC on the fire stick in order to connect to the WD drive.
VLC can see the cloud drive, when I click on the cloud drive, I can see the top level file names, personal ones and the standard ‘Public’.
When I click on the public drive, I just get hourglass and it eventually times out.
I have installed another app called MrMC to see if I can get beyond ‘Public’. It too just hourglasses.
VLC on my mobile works fine and I can see everything on the cloud drive.
Has anyone experienced anything like this?
As things stand, I cannot tell whether the issue is the fire stick itself or the apps , perhaps a combo of both. Either way, I CAN see the drive, I CAN see the Public share but nothing beneath it.
