Accessing MyCloud from laptop

Hi, I have a 3tb MyCloud, and working ok till past week or so. Everytime I logged onto laptop, it would install firmware update, before eventually dropping network connection. However, in last day or so, cannot access it at all via laptop, though no problems connecting via internet? Can access dashboard via other devices. Have tried resetting network on laptop, and not worked. As well as the firmware update, there has been a Windows update in recent days.

What would people suggest?

Do you have the 1st or 2nd generation My Cloud?
