Access to accounts - help!

Hi. New to all this and just trying to set up My Cloud. At the moment, I have a public folder and a folder which the system set up when I added another user. I’m rather confused thought because I thought the accounts would be separate. At the moment my OH can see everything I’ve uploaded. This isn’t a problem in itself but it will be if when he tries to upload stuff it all goes into the same area. Is there a way to prevent him having access to my folders? Thanks in advance

Yes, in the My Cloud Dashboard set a Share to Private then assign access to that Share per User so only you have access to the Share in question.

If you have not done so already you should see the My Cloud Dashboard Help or the My Cloud User Manual (http://www.wdc.com/wdproducts/library/?id=439&type=25), or the My Cloud Learning Center (http://mycloud.com/learn/?id=mycloud and http://setup.wd2go.com/index.php?mod=product&device=mc) for more information on the My Cloud, its features and how to configure Private Shares and restrict access to them by User.

Ah thanks for that. So much information to take in at once!
