I would like to buy a My cloud home for my family, and I have some questions.
I understand that we can access to the contents of the disk from the iPhone’s native files application. Can we use the files application to copy documents from the iPhone to the My cloud home disk?
And can I likewise access to the contents of the disk, and copy documents from the iPhone to the disk from the iPhone’s file application if I’m not connected to the same network as the disk (for example, if I’m out of town)?

It is not clear what iOS is doing when using Apples’ Files app with enabling the My Cloud Home as a network drive. When used remotely, the iOS VPN does not seem to be activated, but connection is still made to the My Cloud Home device. The MCH appears to provide the VPN and iOS Files app allows redirection of file access, including uploading of files and folders to the MCH.
